Jacobs Trading Company (JTC) is one of several privately-held companies owned
by entrepreneur Irwin Jacobs. Mr. Jacobs is chairman of Genmar Holdings, Inc.,
the largest privately-owned manufacturer of recreational boats in the world and
the industry's technological leader.
Mr. Jacobs has owned or controlled a variety of businesses including start-up
companies. Mr. Jacobs has focused the majority of his energies developing
businesses and creating opportunities for both employees and the residents of
the communities in which his companies operate.

Through his organization and diversified investments Mr. Jacobs has been
involved in many different types of businesses including: television shopping
(the Jacobs-controlled CVN Companies, Inc. merged with QVC), professional
sports (former co-owner of the Minnesota Vikings), sporting equipment (former
owner of AMF-Head Sports maker of tennis, skiing, scuba, bowling and Ben Hogan
golf products), transportation and logistics (former owner of the Bekins
Company), printing (former owner of the quick-print franchise organization
Insty Print, Inc.), banking, oil and gas.
